Where Your Support Goes
The Bobcat Bolt Jog-A-Thon is more than a fundraiser. Money raised directly supports experiences and resources for our students, including:
- 🚌Field trip transportation (one trip per year, PTO sponsored)
- 🎓Teacher classroom grants and supplies
- 🎉School assemblies and enrichment
- 🏆Grade-level traditions and special programs
- 🎨Other PTO-funded experiences throughout the year, such as school murals and new P.E. equipment
Our Bobcat Bolt Hall of Fame
Since Fall 2023, Fern Hill PTO has celebrated our fundraising in so many ways, from duct-taping Dr. Southmayd to the gym wall, to having her sleep at school for a night, to enduring pie-tossing. Our teachers and PTO volunteers join the spirit too, getting slimed, racing in costume, and even eating hot wings.
What Is a Jog-A-Thon?
Think of it like a school fun run plus a fundraiser. Students ask family and friends for flat-rate donations to support Fern Hill PTO. Then, on Bobcat Bolt Race Day, every student heads outside with their grade to run, jog, or walk laps while families and teachers cheer them on.
Students do not need to raise a certain amount to participate in the race. The goal is simple: raise money for Fern Hill Elementary and celebrate together with a really fun school event once the fundraiser concludes.

Register Your Student
- New parents: Create your student's fundraising page through Get Movin' FundHub.
- Returning parents: Simply log in and update your student's teacher assignment.
- Registration is free and only takes a few minutes.
Share Your Page
- Text or email your fundraising link to grandparents, relatives, friends, and neighbors.
- Even better, help us with our 50-State Challenge! A donation of just $10 can put another state on Fern Hill's map, and our homerooms are racing to get the first donation from each state.
Donate
- Families can donate online or send cash or check donations to school.
- If using cash or check, please complete the bottom portion of our fundraiser flyer, enclose your pledge payment, and have your student deliver it to the Main Office at Fern Hill Elementary School.
- Checks should be made payable to Fern Hill Elementary PTO. Fern Hill PTO retains 100% of all cash and check donations.
- There is an option to pay a 15% "donor credit" online to help retain the maximum profit for Fern Hill PTO. This is completely optional but helps cover the cost of the platform.
Coin Jar Challenge
Back by popular demand, we're gathering loose coins and small bills ($1 and $5) in each of our classrooms. In past years, simply collecting coins raised over $1,000. Every little bit helps. The classroom with the highest collection by Tuesday, October 13 will win a bonus recess with some fun PTO-sponsored extras. All coins collected count toward your classroom goal.
